A THANKSGIVING TRIP
We know a road to memory dear
That wanders up and down—
A mountain road, a country road,
It leads away from town.
It is so narrow, with Jeep rate
And brash close In ’the •way—
But tie the only road I know
Call Ib is Thanksgiving Day.

THANKSGIVING

Outside in the orchard the
snow flakes are falling.
As white as the down from an
angel’s, soft wing,—
And over dead grasses, the wind

Is telling of joy in the song .that
it sings.
In shed and in

Fling back to their granaries

From cellar and dairy th e song
