round of pipy over the Belling­
ham course yesterday. Ia a d r i l l ­
ing rain. Miss Marjorie Jefferies,

defeated Mrs. Guy Reigel of Spo­
kane, one up, on the 18th hole.
Mrs. Reigel was the favorite to
win the title and started in to

ly outstate contestant, defeating

Mrs F. F. Jackson of Seattle had

ed Saturday morning. August 2V‘,
at 10:20 o’clock In John Day,
¡Oregon, when Miss Sarah Mosier,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred H.
Mosier Of Mt. Vernon, Oregon,
became "the bride of Mr. Arthur
Peters, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. A.
Peters, Sr., pn the Boulevard ‘in
this city. The wedding took place
at the home of the bride’s grand­
parents. her grandfather, Justice
of the Peace J. B. Combs, per­
forming thg ceremony.
Fofldwlag the ceremony the
wedding party motored to Mrs.
Peters' home at M|. Vernon,
where a most elaborate dinner
was eajoyed. Her father,
Mr.
Fred H. Mosier is a prominent
rancher of the John Day valley.
Mrs. Peters has been\a student
at tbs Southern Oregon Normal
school for the past year, and re­
sided at her home in Mt- Vbrnon
before coming to Ashland.
Mr.
Peters is tbs » a of some of Ash­
land’s prominent citizens.

was raised in this city, attended
grade school here and was gradu­
ated from the local high school
with the class of 1828.
