day, August 10, for their home,
after five months spent in touring
Great Britain, and the United
states.
" I want to say that the United
States has the best roads In the
whole world. Two of the many
wonderful things I learned In
this country are how to m a k e
these marvelous, roads and the
valde of advertising what you
have," MV. Elliott said.
Mr. Forbes has dxtenilve graz
ing and agricultural interests In
Australia. He was particularly In
terested in this phase of business
in this country.

“ Australia needs some United
States advertising.” he s a l d.
“ Australia Is a beautiful country

Ashland. The residence section

into this famous attraction.
You feel like setting Ashland

more prevalent this year In Ore

water. , The sloughs and standing
back-waters are excellent breed
ing places for mosquitoes. Al
though malaria is an uncommon
disease in this state if mosqultp
control «is not given serious con

The control and extermination
of mosquitoes Involves the appli
cation of many methods.
There
are, however, three
principle
methods for preventing the breed

draining of all standing or stag

the planting of top minnows
eat the larvae.
The mosquito can only be
