them at the time. The order re­
quires that they be cloaked in the
feather cbpes, famous in Hawai­
ian tradition, worn In earlier
years py Hawaiian warriors.

destrians because of the inten­
sive training in safety which has
been a pajt of schoolroom study
for the past two years, according
to officials of the Automobile
Club of Southern California.
Three hundred and fifty thous­
and children In the 13 southern
ceunty schools have been taught
the elements of safe conduct on
the streets, it was said. '
