WASHINGTON, D. C., June 20.
—(LP)— The difference between
American and British^ proposals
for limiting the auxiliary naval
cl-aft was presented to the Geneva-
Threo-Powsr conference today,
and is not serious enough to pre
vent agreement, according to. ad
ministration circles.
The basic principle provides
for fivs-flva-three ratio for the
United States, England and Japan,
was apparently accepted by Eng
land. The United States may ac
cept the English proposition to
limit the sise of submarines, and
to limit cruisers to 7,500 tons.

Southern Oregon Normal school
was a busy p/tce today as from all
sections of Oregon, from Califor
nia and Idaho students registered
for the sumper term.
Most of those registering were
teachers, some of them who at
tended the Normal school last
summer during the first term of
work done at the new institution.
Faculty members, most of whom
have been out of town for the
past five days enjoying the mid
term vacation, were back on the
job. Misa Katherine Vincent, reg
istrar and her assistants were
busy in locating the newcomers.
