hereby given that bids are now
called for the clearing o f the
Reeder Gulch Reservoir Site, and
R ight of Way for a Roadway for
the Water Department of the City
pf Ashland, Oregon. The plana and
specifications ean'be seen at the
office of the City Engineer.
Tho plans call for the clearing
and grubbing of about 20 acre®
for a reservoir site, involving the j
cutting of all trees and brush and
the pulling or shooting out o f a l| |
stumps, with the burning up o f all I
limbs, roots, stum ps, etc., and the
cutting up into 1® inch fire woot)
<11 material fit for the sam e, and
piling up said firew ood where ac­
cessible for hauling out.
There Is also required the clear­
ing of a right o f way for road pur­
poses, eaid road way being about
50 feet in width aud 2500 feef
long.
The City Council w ill receive
sealed proposals for all of the
above work, said proposals to be
in the hands of th e City Recorder
before 7:30 p. m. May 3, 1927,
and said proposals w ill be opened
X 8 p. ro. in the Council Cham­
ber in the City Hall, Ashland, Ore­
gon on May 3, 1927.
Each bid must be accompanied
by a certified check or bid bond
of no less than five (6 ) percent of
the total amount of the bid, made
payable to the order of the City
•Treasurer, City of Ashland, Ore­
gon. The righe is reserved to re­
ject any or all proposals, and to
waive technical defects, a® the in­
terest of the City may require.
