Mra. MacCracken leaves A pril
tenth for Washington, D. C., to
attend the national conference of
the Daughters of the American
Revolution. Mt. Ashland chapter
presented Mrs. MacCracken w ith
a beautiful traveling hag. Chap­
ter Regent, Mrs. H arriet Fielding
made a clever speech in behalf of
the chapter and Mrs. MacCrack­
en responded graciously.
The local Daughters feel a spec­
ial interest In Mrs. MacCracken’*
trip. She represent* Oregon In the
capacity of state regent, but she
also stands for Mt. Ashland chap­
ter, whose splendid organization
and active membership la due lu

tion and continued interest.
