The deer are getting thick In
this part of the valley. It mqst

week that two dogs belonging to
Fred Homes chased a little doe
from the uppej ranch, which Fred
has rented, down toward hts home
place. The doe was rescued and
shut up. after which Mr. Parr, the
game warden, was notified and
came out the next morning and
turned the deer lose. The Homer
Morris’ had the same experience
n few weeks ago.
The millinery school held in the
clubrooms W ednesday was a suc­
cess. An elaborate coverod dish
luncheon was served st noon, a id
while the ladles all had Miss York
on trial. So to speak, I think they
are all ready now to give her the
glad hand of fellowship.
