Arrangements for an increase
In the allotment of the Portland
Motor Car company fo p the new
Essex super-six line, made neces­
sary by the great demand for the
cars, consisting of a coupfe, coach
and sedan model, are now being
made by S. W . Peters, vice-presi­
dent of the company, who Is in the
East.
According to A. C, Stevens,
sales manager of the company,
which distributes the line in Ore­
gon and<the river fringe of Wash­
ington, the unqualified acceptance
of the new line exceeded all ex­
pectations, with the result that
the factory allotments for

various territories of the United
States has had to undergo revis­
ion.
