iate Christian Endeavor Society
of the Presbyterian church held
a business meeting In the chnrch
parton Thursday evening Feb­
ruary tenth from five thirty to
seven thirty.
During the meeting sides were
chosen for the purpose of gain­
ing new members, the leaders be­
ing Emma Reilly and Maxine Em­
ery.
Emma Reilly was a\so
elected ^Secretary.
Refreshments consisting
of
nandwicbee, chocolate and delic­
ious cookies were served after
which games occupied the re­
mainder of the evening.

QUINCY, 111., Feb. 12.—-(UP)
— Frederick H. Marsh, 34, chief
of police of Chicago ip 1830, sits
in the old Soldier’s home he help­

tures, Is celebrating his fourth
birthday today. He Is quite an

that he Is the eldest son of Vis­
count Lstscelles and Princess
Mary, which means that some
day he will probably be the sixth
Earl of Harewood and one of
the wealthiest men in the Brit­
ish Isles.
Master George is a boy’s boy,
who loves to* run about bis
father’s stables and play in the
gardens and get himself all cov­
ered with dirt. His royal mother
though she may at times despair
as other mothers do, has seen
to that.
