Three generations of boister
ous little folks have scampered,
tumbled and romped in Iron
Clad stockings. Children’s Iron
Clads have won their popularity
because they have proved th fy
can stand the punishment which
the wild antics of frisky young
sters givp them. They are trim
and good looking, but stoutly
wpven to resist the stress and
strain of child-wear. See Iron

Student Athletics
Among questions submitted to students
by the president of a certain institution
of learning was inquiry as to what part
of the course had contributed moat to
their moral development.
’
A resume of the replies gave the in
vestigators a real surprise, for it was
found that a majority of the students had
stated 4‘athletics.’’
While several courses influenced the
development of character are included in
the curriculum of schools and colleges, it
is of interest that student« are most defin
itely influenced by the fact that good
health and good morals are neoesaarv if
they are successful at athletios. This is
reason a-plenty why student avnlettcs In
our high and normal schools should he en
couraged and supported by all good citi
zens.
