OWN the road it travels, one of the most efficient things
on wheels. Coils of wire are stored inside. Tools ore in the
snug lockers. Pike poles and shovels are in their racks. A big
winch is bolted to its frame and there are pipes of steel from
which to form a sturdy derrick.
Sometimes it draws a trailer loaded with long, straight poles.
Sometimes it bears a heavy reel of cable. Often its load is men.
The telephone truck gets many a glance aa it passes. For
whether on the peace-time job of construction qnd mainten
ance or bound to where snow and sleet have made for it a
battle ground, it means power, speed, efficiency, economy and
human loyalty, united in the task of making telephone service
better, broader, more dependable.

lorn . When your kidneys get sing-
gun and clog you must relieve them,
nice you relieve your bowels, remov
ing all the body's urinous waste, else
you have backache, sick headache,
dizzy spells; your stomach .sours,
tongue is coated, and when the weather
is bad you have rheumatic twinges.
The urine Is cloudy, full of sediment,
channels often get sore, water seslds
and you are obliged to seek relief two
or three times during the night
Either consult a good, reliable
physician at onoe or get from your
pharmacist about four ounces of Jad
Salts; take a tablespoonful in's glass
of water before breakfast for a few
days and your kidneys may then set
fine. This famous salts is made from
the acid of fftaPf* and lemon juice,
combined with lithia, and has been
used for years to help dean and
stimulate sluggish kidneys, also to
neutralize acids in the system, so they
no longer irritate, thus often relieving
Madder weakness.
Jad Salts is inexpensive, cannot in
jurs and makes * delightful, efferves
cent lithia-wster drink. Drink lota of
soft water.

A Tennessee mother talks, Mrs.
J. G. G.— of Knoxville. “Another
thing, everyone who has children
should keep Foley’s Honey and
Tar compound always on hand,
for the children’s cough or baby’s
croup.
It certainly excells all
other cough medicines in healing
qualities and In giving quick and
satisfactory results. It Is made
under absolutely sanitary condi
tions and contains no opiates—
points of especial Interest to
mothers who want to know what
thby are giving their children.
Our druggist also recommends it
highly.” Ask for It, Sold every

QUESTIONED
BERLIN, Feb. 5.— Bristling
nationalism raised Ito head in the
German relchatag today and the
league of nations, the Locarno

Socialists joined Nationalists
