The delegates to the Press Con­
vention at Eugene, returned Sun­
day afteunoon and each one Said
they had a wonderful trip .
Monday afternoon th f repre­
sentatives gave a ta lk in the as­
sembly, each telling of some
phase of the trip or convention.
Eleanor Swedenburg gave an
account of the trip up and back,
which w m without any excitement
of a fla t tire or even running out
of gas. K ay N ejl, the student
body president, gave an account
of the lectures they attended and
also described the music hall,
which, he said, impressed him
greatly. Jean Stratton, the secre­
tary of the student body,, gave
her report on the talks given on
high school Athletics and

discussed the “point system" of
awarding letters <to the college
women at U. of O. Barney M ill­
er, editor of “The Rogge News,”
based his ta lk on the meetings .of
the Press Association and gave an
Interesting account of how he was
received at the fra t house and
said he was quite Impressed when
he saw two freshmen being pad-
died. James Brlgga, the business
manager of the high school pa­
per, gave a report of the manag­
e r’s meeting.
K ay N eil stayed at hia broth­
er’s fraternity. Sigma Phi Epsi­
lon, while James and Barney lived
at the Pal Kappa house. Both
Jean and Eleanor stayed at the
Alpha Delta Pl house where
Miss Genevieve Swedenburg was
pledged. Mrs. Swedenburg, who
accompanied the delegates to Eu­
gene, stayed at Hendricks hall
while there.
