dent body w ill turn out enmssse

Junior High. Every citlsen of
Ashland interested in the high
school, and wishing to help the

Yreka, w ill be at the lib rary at
7:11 Saturday night to serpen­
tine w ith the students up the
Boulevard to the gym. Back the

The boys glee club has another
new Ruaelan song, “ Patrpseha,”
th a t they have almost perfected.

today. Several girls from each
class turned out, but there to

has hopes-of coming out first
weekly mooting last night in the

The Juniors also had a pie sale
in the hall of the school this noon.
(Wednesday) to raise money for
the Junior-Senior prom which
w ill take place early this spring.
The receipts gf the sale are not
yet known.

with a cold' is able to be out
again.
When a three-inch shell ex­
ploded Saturday in a trash pile
fire at the R. B. Purvis homo, ton
people were in range, narrowly
escaping serious ln jpry. The shell
had laid about the place fo r years
and was thrown on the fire w ith
some trash through mistake. The
explosion was heard for miles
and- the bullets splattered the
houatf, eighteen going through the
