The funeral of Mrs. W illiams,
who passed away „Wednesday,
Nov. 10, at the fam ily home, was
held from the Stock Parlors on
Saturday morning, Nov. 18. Ex­
cept for the absence of one boy
who lives in.Canada, all the child­
ren were present. A sad feature
is the Illness of the husband,- Mr.
W illiam s, who is critically 111 In a
local hospital, and was unable to
attend the last services. The
■community joins In extending
most sincere sympathy to these
friends in, their loss.
A meeting of the committee on
arrangements for the vaudeville
which the community club, to­
gether with the P. T. A. are spon­
soring for their annual Xmas play
at the new club house was called
at the home of Mrs. Betty Gou­
ache Thursday afternoon. Defin­
ite arrangements were made and
the plans w ill go ahead at once.
The committee was delighted
with the prospects and everyone
may be assured of their money’s
woth when they come to the com­
munity house Frida# night, De­
cember 17. ,
. James Beagle, at one time a
resident of the Bellview district,
and a skilled workman with rock,
brick and mortar, has offered his
services to 'th e building commit­
tee and in two or three weeks he
is free from his duties and will
finish up any work in need of his
skilled labor, which is then wait­
ing to be done. We thank him.
