by the state on proposed constitutional amendment^ and
measures- . In this book are 100 pages devoted to setting
forth the measures to he voted upon and the, arguments
for and against them. In a little more than two months,
the people of die state will be required to cast their bal­
lots ou the measures and we wonder how many will he able
to do so intelligently. An intelligent vote would be cast'
by a pferapn who.has a perfect' knowledge.of. all of those
questions on which he is giving his preference.
In the Pleasures coming up will be many concerned
with parts of the .state, yet tlje entire state will vote on
them.
Probably the people of the districts concerned
know what the measure is about but almost all voters will
know will be the short text given on the ballot. 1}. seems
rather absurd for People hefe to vote on something which
affects some one county, when the conditions there are
unknown.
