GENEVA, (UP)— The- League
of Nations has^onie to the rescue
of women of all countries, who as
a result of marriage to American
men have become International
derelicts, from the standpoint jf
nationality, by reasons of tho
Cable law.
It has developed on the League
to assume the task of trying to
provide that no woman, of what­
soever i^ce or country, shall be
left without a nationality, merely
because she happened to marry an
American.
To this end the League has sub­
mitted to all of the governments
of the world the draft project of
sn international convention on
nationality In which provision Is
made for women marrying for­
eigners.
In the event the majority of
the nations reply favorably, an in­
ternational conference will be
convoked by the League for the
purpose of launching and signing
th^proposed convention. It will
