meets at 2:80 p. m.

The Wednesday Club of the
Presbyterian church entertained
at the church parlors wth a
large attendance present to en­
joy the pleasing program and
social hour.
The Ladles Aid were guest»
of the Wednesday club, with
one of Its number, honor guest,
Mrs. Sarah Walker, whose birth­
day was being celebrated.
A violin solo, played by Mrs.
C. V. Howell, with Mrs. Cunning
accompanlng gave much pleasure,
to the listeners.. Dr. Mattle B.
Shaw gave one of her always
pleasing readings and Miss Louise
Brommer played a piano eolo,
which wag well received.
Others there were that added
to the program In sodg and story
rounding out a very delightful
hour.
The hrthday cake, with little
cakes and tea, was served by the
hostesses Mrs. Carl Brommer
and Mrs. L. S. Brown, from a
daintily appointed tea table.
The honor guest was the re­
cipient of a lovely gift from
her many friends In both or­
ganisations.

rounding out so many happy

Twenty five of the Junior
Leaguers enjoyed a delightful
luncheon and party at the par­
lors of the Methodist church, on
Saturday from 11:30 until 3:80
p. m. ,

The tables had been arranged
in a horseshoe shape and beau­
tiful floral decorations of lilacs
and greenery made a pretty set­
ting for the bountiful luncheon
which was served by the superin­
tendents, Miss Nadine Swennlng,
and Miss Mae Van Harden berg.
Lively and interesting games
were played in doors for part ot
the time and after luncheon
they all went ont of doors- and
played hide and seek and ten
step .
The happy afternoon closed by
singing a few favorite songs and
repeating the Junior League
