membership of the Oregon State
Automobile association, and it is
understood that a meeting -will
be called for some evening next
week at the Llthia Springs hotel.

Being Observed
Passion week services are being
held each evening this week by

vealed today.
Under an agreement reached
by the republican steering com­
mittee, the Italian debt, the
Brookhart and Steck contest,
the public buildings bill, the ra il­
way conciliation measure, the
McFadden banking bill and the
Morrow a ir service proposals w ill
be taken up in consecutive or­
der.
Whether or not the farm bloc
can muster sufficient strength
to break in on this program is
not known, hut It is considered
extremely doubtful.
