Roseburg-Oooa Bay branch of
the state highway waa blocked
today by a masalve slide 12 miles
south of Marshfield
on the
Marsbfleld-CoqnlUe paved high­
way.
The slide also blocked
the Southern Pacific right of
way, but railway officials ex­
pected to have It cleared by to­
night.
The highway may re­
main closed to traffic for tho
