In our humble opinion it behooves the people of A shland
to be keenly alert to the situation and to jpako strenuous
objections to this proposed change in the Gateway office.
Anto tourists do not want to be halted out on the
highway where there is a general lack of tourist accomo
dations. Consequently, Ashland is the only logical N a
tion for th is important office during the tourist months.
B ut seeking an opportunity to divert this auto tour
ist traffic, Klamath F alls is quick to grasp i t Ashland
residents should register a vigorous protest whioh could
be heard to the four corners of the state and thus bjock
the attem pt to take from Ashland that which is rightful*
f f h e r ’s.
