resented Jackson oonnty' In the|
state senate during the last two
sessions, stated to The Tidings
editor today that he had decided
to seek the Republican nomina­
tion for another term in the May
primary.
Considerable comment has been
indulged In as to whether Mr.
Dunn would again enter the race.
Reports had been circulated that
be had agreed previously not to
seek another term and that, there­
fore, be would not make the rape.
Mr. Dunn stated he had not made
any promise to remain out of this
primary and that any report« to
that e'ffect were erroneous.

— (U.P.)—The Norris constitu­
tional amendment changing the
date for the inauguration of
the president from March 4
to the third Monday In January
was adopted In the senate today
by a vote of 72 to 2. The same
bill would change the date for
opening, congress from December
to the first Monday In January.
The amendment was passed in
the senate at the last session
but was defeated in the home.
There was but little discus­
sion of the measure whei^ It
