He is a true Yankee iu every sense of the word; an honest, God-fearing man.” Miss Chamberlain said that she found herself becoming an ardent Oregon booster almost before she knew It. The Boston climate, she said, was bad, and for that reason she praised Ore­ gon in highest terms. As « remit, many of her friends said they were coming out here this summer. It was announced that J. Popular Young Ashland Man is Called by Death Morton Herman Hansen, aged 89, died at his home on Nob Hill at & o'clock this morning, after a very brief Illness. The burial is in charge of the J. P. Dodge and Sons funeral direct­ ors and the arrangements have not been made. He was born in Franklin, Oregon on March 12, 1897. He graduated from the Oregon Agri­ cultural College in 1922 com­ ing to Ashland a year later anj made his home here since that time.
