Aside from the report o f the
general manager, Carl J. Brom-
er. and a report of the special
committee, investigating methods
to r bettering the oonditlons of
the association, little business was
transacted.

The report of the commission
recommended that the growers
m arket all of their crops through
the association, not selling the
better grade of produce ~the in-
selves and m arketing the second
class or cull stuff through the
association.
Only by marketing th e ir pro­
ducts entirely through the asso­
ciation can. the association be
placed on a paying basis, the re­
port declared.
