After a wobbly start, in which two runs were scored off hi» delivery 'tturihg
the first two innings, Kremer settled down, and from that time on, was never in any
serious danger, The lanky right hander used a »weeping curve ball, mixing it with

Goose Goslin, husky Senator outfielder went into a tie with Joe Harris when he

Society Editor Congratulated
From many sources this morning came r e
marks of pleasure at one feature in yesterday’s
issue of The Daily Tidings, which was as gratify
ing to, the paper’s management as it proved to t ie
paper’s readers.
-
:
This feature was the Monday installment of
«‘Society N otes” by Mrs. Grace Andrews, which
occupied approximately six eolumns of reading
matter on pages 2 and 3 of yesterday’s issue and
gave a comprehensixe, as well as intensely inter
esting, report of the various social acti vities dur
ing the last few days in*Ashland and the sur
rounding communities.
The Tidings feels fortunate in persuading Mrs.
Andrews to resume her'editing of ‘‘Society Note»,”
which will appear iw iee each week in The Tidings,
In the Monday and Thursday issues. Mrs. An
drews has the happy faculty of writihg human in
terest into her society reports and, because of her
wide acquaintance and'connection with the social,
club and fraternal activities of Ashland, is able
to give a more, complete report on snch activities
than probably any other person in the city. - '
'■ Mrs. Andrews Will be glad to receive com
mittee reports, accounts of social, fraternal and
