quest the proposition calling for the purchase of the Mc
Cormick tract, to be used as an addition to the camp
grounds in Lithia Park, was added to the ballot for the
special election to be held February 17, this morning made
their first public announcement of their stand on the
proposition.
According to the agreement, tacitly made with the
council at the time the proposition was before that body,
the park commissioners agreed to move the elk now oc
cupying a two acre tract in the center of the park, to the
