S tuart McKissick, engineer, who was retained by the! tt
city'council, retired January 1, of this year, to make a sur- < tt
vey of the water possibilities up Ashland Canyon, and tt
to further investigate possible means for augmenting the tt tt
water supply of the city by means of storage or stream tt
flow diversion, has completed his report, and turned over tt
all maps and data obtained to the city, thus closing his tt
tt
operations. McKissick’s report was read at the adjourn­ tt
ed session of the city council Thursday night.

McKissick’s report indicates that Ashland Canyon tt
lacks any possible natm al storage possibilities. Every tt
tt
possible site for a storage dam was surveyed and mapped tt
by the party headed by McKissick, and later contoured tt
and the water storage possibilities computed. The report tt
shows that sites, before considered available for tin? con­ tt
