This is the remembrance of the newspaper carrier
boys Christmas eve. A small present with a word of
Christmas greeting does the trick which makes the boys
know that you appreciate their effort to get the news
paper to you.
Fortitude and manliness is probably no place better
illustrated than in the faithful newspaper carrier boy.
Days when it is raining, you rush home after office hours
and, sitting in the protection of your house, read the
newspaper which the youngster has brought to you, even
though he had to become drenched in doing it.
Days like the last week, with snow and ice on the
ground, the carrier boy has brought your newspaper, even
though he had to leave his “ bike” behind and trudge
through the snow and slush, with his ears and feet chilled
and biting.
Isn’t this service»worthy of a little remembrance
from you, Mr. Tidings Subscriber.
