For a century forgotten, it is returning to its old pres­ tige, its shingle swaying in the breeze as of yore, the aroma of its brew luring passersby to its spacious drinking room. The coffee house! Modem in its appointments, yes, but carrying in its very name the romance of infant Ameri­ ca. Over a great span of years it has been borne to us, coupling the present with the heroic past.
