Thus, ju st as a t the close of last sum ­ m er we found henna and brow n all-over lace extrem ely popular, we now find all-over lace all over the place. N ot only in henna and brew n, b ut in all the seven colors of th e rainbow , and in seven tim es seven other different shades. In the sketch above is shown a popular model in dyed lace. It is in violet blue over a violet slip. A wide sash draw n to the side is bunched into a huge ro se tte o f tulle and lace, the lace tra ilin g wispily into a train . In the lower sketch, a real lace collar is fe a tu re d on a simple gown of old-fashioned cu t, and the lace collar m atches a dainty fan. A set like this, of fan and collar, is rich and unique in ap ­ pearance, and m ilady needs no other decoration.
