session of a picturesque land locked
harbor, the only c a th ed ral In the world
built entirely of stone and inetal, and
the ancestral house of th e O rsini, Se­
benico has few claim s to distinction.
However, by some people Sebenico
will alw ays be held In high honor
for being th e place w here they m ake
m araschino, an insidious liquor dis­
tilled from sm all black cherries.
