railroad firemen and brakemen connect
ed with the Deluw-are, Lackawanna &
Western railroad, held a secret meeting
in Hobokon Sunday to consider he strike
proposed along the line of the road.

FREIGHT HOUSE BURNS.
TOLEDO. O.. June '.!6.-At 10 o'clock
tonight fire broke out In the freighthouse
of the Michigan Central. In a few milt

mass of flames. The flame were driven
across the bayou by the wind and one
freighthouse of the Cincinnati. Hamilton
& Dv.yton caught fire. One hundred
freight cars, nearly all loaded, were de
stroyed. Loss Is estimated at half a
million dollars.
