ol Pa'.lent Cured by Dr. Darrtn.
Portland, Oregon. Mr. Editor Dear
Sir: I hold It to be a. duty a well as
a pleasure to make known through the
press that which of all other things 1
most essential, via.: The way to cure
pain and ilekneas. I was cor.fined to my
horn, with aclatlo rheumatism, kidney
trouble. Inflammation of neck of the blad
der and general Indisposition. Could not
sleep more than an hour at a time. All
means I tried proved unavailing. I was
prompted to visit Dr. Darrln through
tbe advice of my friends who bad been
cured by blm, though, I must aay, I had
tlttl. faith that electricity would cure
me. I cam. to the doctor on crutches.
Two weeks' treatment baa cured me, io
I have thrown away my crutches, and
my other complaint hare all disap
peared, so I oan take command of my
engine. W. HATS.
Judging from the tastlmooiaia that ar-
published daily It seems there are but
few tils to which the human flesh Is
heir, which cannot be relieved and gen
erally permanently cured by Dr. Dar
rln's electne treatment, and case that
have resisted other effort have yielded
to his power. These cases embrace al
most every kind of curable disease, and,
aa said before, no man, woman, or child
need despair of relief and cure while
Dr. Darrln offers Invaluable services.
The doctor will remain in Astoria until
November L at the Occidental hotel, and
will during tbe. remainder of bis stay,
treat all cases at the rate of t5 a week
or In that proportion of time as cases
may require. The poor treated free from
9 to 10 a. m. 'ally, except medicines.
Regular office hours from 10 a. m. to 6
p. m.. and 7 to 8 In the evenings. He
treats nil chronic diseases, blood taints,
loss of vital power and early Indiscre
tions, though no references are ever made
In the press concerning auch cases, ow
ing to the delicacy of the patients. Ex
aminations free to all, and circulars will
be semt free to any address. All pri
vate diseases confidentially treated and
cures guaranteed. Patients at a distance
can be cured by home treatment. Med
icines and letters sent without the doc
tor's name appearing.
To Pnd out Just who your friends arc
needs only a short spell of sickness or
financial depression.
A Matter of Health
IT costs more to make Royal Baking Powder
than any other, because its ingredients are
more highly refined and expensive.
But the Royal is correspondingly purer and
higher in leavening strength, and of greater
money value to the consumer.
The difference in cost of Royal over the best
of the others does hot equal the difference in
leavening strength, nor make good the inferior
work of the cheaper powders, nor remove the
impurities which such powders leave in the food.
Where the finest food is required, the
Royal Baking Powder
only can be used.
Where the question of health is considered, no
baking powder but the Royal can be used with
salety. Uthers are shown by ofhcial analyses
contain lime, ammonia
