Dr. C. W. Tower, of Coos county,
was In the city yesterday on his way
home from Salem. The doctor Is an
old-time friend and schoolmate of llr.
G. Wingate, and was the guest of that

that he was going home to put a barbed
wire fence around the pops, in Coos
county. "Governor Lord will call a
