Authorising the mayor and police Judge to execute deeds f'r property re deemed from tax sales and repealing Ordinance No. 2076. which provide for a 25 per cent penalty after a certain date. The new ordlance I Just the same as the old one except that the penalty clause Is eliminated. On mo tion the rules were suspended and the ordinance was passed on the third read Ing- Appropriatlng $40 out of the general fund and placing it In the fund for the payment of salaries of mayor and coun- clltnen. On motion the rules were sus pended and the ordlnam was passed on the third reading. To umend &t-tion 9, of Ordinance 1193. ok to the manner of issuing and col lecting licenses. The license of auc tioneers Is now t:'00 er year. The ob ject of the ordinance Is to reduce this amount, and the figure sugg'-sted was $r,0; but before being read the second time the matter was referred to the committee on health and police.
