Numerous watch parties are being ar ranged for New Year's Eve., and many slates filled with new resolutions have already been prepared. How many sponges have been tied to the slates is a conundrum. It was very dull around the courts yesterday, not a single Item of Interest having taken place In any of them. General business In the city was also dull, but the merchants anticipate a revival after the first.
