No Intelligent reader of the Astorlan
will fall to make a proper distinction
between the editorial and other read
ing columns of the paper. Its editorial
expressions In future, as in the past,
will continue to be the opinions and
sentiments of the paper regarding any
pending political or other"publlc ques
tion. They are not for sale, cannot
be bought, nor will not be coerced Into
the support of any particular' line or
policy not In thorough accord with the
convictions and views of the men who
furnish the money and brains to run
the paper. In Its other columns, as
heretofore also, will be published such
matters of legitimate news of general
Interest as seems to suit the taste of
its patrons, and Its proprietor can
afford; and so far as it has the space
to spare, It will cheerfully print all
such respectable communications as
may be addressed to It, regardless of
their shade of political or ' religious
opinion.
Illustration of the completeness and
perfection of system to which that as
sociation has been brought by the tire,
less energy and enterprise of its pres
ent managers:

The reader of this paper will be picas-
ed to learn that there is at least one
dreaded disease that science has been
able to cure In all Its stages, and that
is Catarrh. Hall's Catarrh Cure Is the
only positive cure known to the med

treatment. Hall s Catarrh Cure Is tak

blood and mucous surfaces of the sys

strength by building up the constltu

there are several propositions bjforo

probable that the man with the money
