Warrenton Lodge Gives a Successful Entertainment. On Friday evening G. O. I. Frank Da vy Installed the officers of Warrenton Lodge No. 52, A. O. U. W. as tol'.ows; P. M. W., A. R. Cyrus; M. 'V.. Sidney Campbell; Foreman, W. N. May; Ovtr seer, W, H, Bruce; vecorlor, J, A. MC' intire; receiver, F. B. Ketchum; finan cier, "Wpi. Hill; guide, Albeit Hill; 1, W., Joel Kindred; O. W., 11. Ericksen. The Installation was a public one, and at its conclusion the audience was en tertained with some delightful .nusc both vocal and instruments, furnished by home talept, and enthuslustk-aily icceived. The attention of those pres ent was occupied by G. O. I. Davey for -.bout three-quarters of an hour, the speaker's subject being the order and its growth. A.t tpe conclusion of Mr. DayeV's remarks a delicious lunch, pre pared by the ladles of Warrenton and Sklpanon, was partaken of. A hand some' cake, decorated with the Initial letters of the order, was sold at uuc tlon, and the money thus raised, to gether with a large quantity of pro visions, was dofiatod to, a worthy and needy family. The Masters and Pilots' Association and Seaside Lodge No. 12, A. O. Uf W and members ot the other lodges the A. O. U. W., turned out In a body to assist Astor Lodgo in laying Bro, uisen to rest. The services In the lodge room were conducted by the Rev W. S. Short, pastor of Grace Episcopal church of thlB city. The solemn ana beautiful liturgy of that church wat read in an Impressive manner by Mr. Short, The choir, composed of mem bers of Seaside Lodge, sang the to! owing hymns: "Kock of Ages;" "We Shall Know Each Other Better;' "Nearer My God to Thee;" and "Jesufc Lover of my Soul." The beautiful words of the hymn "When the Mists Have Rolled Away," were sung as a solo by Bro. S. Kozer, of Seaside Lodge, In a touching and tender manner. Ar ter singing the last hymn, the remains were viewed by several hundred peo ple. Many floral offerings were placed upon the coffin; one of the most beau tiful of which was a model of the steamer "Polar Bear," on which Cap tain Olsen had made several trips to Alaska, The owners of the steamer, recognizing his falthulness and ability had this model made as a memorial of him. It was composed of flowers, bedd ed In a large mass of fragrant buds, vines and blossoms, and had the Amer lean flag flying at the peak. It was a tribute .of respect to Uhe departed navigator, that speaks equally for the heads and hearts of those who employ ed mm. After the . services in the lodge room were ended, the secret as sociations of which Captain Olsen was a member formed upon the street, ac- uuiu.ueu oy a large numDer 01 friends, and preceded by the band ot G. Stuttz, marched to the boat, which was to convey ' the remains to the cemetery Three steamers had been chartered to take the remains ot Brother Olsen, his family, and a large number of his friends to Greenwood, where the body was to be interred. The line of march was down Third street to Main, down Main to Second, and up Second to the steamer landing.. Aa soon as the procession started the banc! played "Eventide," and on ar riving at the landing played Handel's beautiful anthem, "The Dead March in Saul." As soon as tho head of the procession had reached the landing a halt was made and the line opened to permit of the passage of the pall-bear ers and. those of the deceased relatives and friends who were behind the coffin. The order of march was as follows: First came the marshal, Past Chan cellor of the Knights of Pythias, Alex. Campbell, and Manager Stuttz, band master. Then followed the members of the band., the Uniform' Rank, No. 1, Knights of Pythias, members of Astor and. Pacific Lodges, -K. of P., about fifty strong; members of Columbia Har bor No. 22, Steamboat Masters; apd. Pi lots, about thirty strong;; members of Seaside Lod,gf, No. 13, A. O. U.
