Peter Walde looked after the "Whisky" interests. Ben Lee spoke eloquently In behalf of the fair sex, pud Fred Olsen told what he knew about "Matrimony." Much amusement was caused by th remarks of the speakers, and considerable speculation indulged In as to what each would have to say. A proionguea achate was, then on- gaged In on the question, "Which Is the mightier the pen or the spord?" The house finally decided in favor of the sword. Nearly 150 persons were present, six new members were ad mitted, and the prospects are good for u large increase In the membership at an early day. The subject for next Thursday night's discussion will be, "Which will be the most useful to man wood or Iron?" Nils Steffensen will speak In favor of wood, and Chris. Tlstlevold on behalf of Iron. There is no doubt that man Is a fine mechanism, but like every other ma chine he wears out by friction. It Is said that he Is born again every two or three years. His body is virtually remade from food. To retard this mak ing over Is radically wrong, as a man loses bo much vitality in the delayed process that it takes a long time to recuperate. The process of mailing anew is so accelerated by purging with urandredth s Pills that a new man, as it were, may be made In two or line months, and the change in the mechan ism is Biich that the worn out part is replaced by the new without the usual running down of the entire machine. You don't have to stop for repairs. Purge away with Brandredth's Pills the old, disease! and worn out body. They are purely vegetable, absolutely harmless, and safe to take at any time.
