There was an unfounded rumor about town yesterday that the steam scow Maid of Oregon had gone down out side the bar. An interesting and instructive ad dress on Missions may be expected from Rev. Wilson Phraynes, D. D., in the Presbyterian church this evening. Dr. Phraynes ha traveled over the mis sionary field lis foredgn lands of every ration, and has delivered addresses in all the larger cities on this coast to crowded and appreciative audiences.
