Austin, Texas, June 10. The Aus
Un regatta came off today. The great
professional race was begun between
Gaudaur, Peterson and Rogers. The
prizes were $1,600 to the first,- $500 to
the second, $300 to the third and $200
to the fourth. The distance was three
miles with a turn. Peterson and Stans
bury seemed to be the most vigorous.
but Gaudaur'g long, steady stroke was
sufficient to give confidence to his
backers, although he was slightly be
hind up to the turning stake. . On the
turn Gaudaur did the quickest work.
