The customs officials have made no new discoveries recently In tracing the forged certificates to their source. They have, of course, opinions indicating the clrcumstnces, and by whom the documents were forged, but no positive proof has thus far been obtained. One of the officers thinks it possible that a copy of a certificate was secured by soma operator In China and that near ly all of' the documents were forged In that country.
