This unique contrivanse is made with two large wheels and the horse travels between them, while the driver sits high up over the axle and the horse's haunches. It i3 claimed that the con. trivance enables a trotting horse to make better time. The advantage of the thing lie3 m the placing of the driver's weight in a place where the horse will less feel it, and in the better control that it gives him over tho horse. His weight rests on the axle-tres, from which rises a bent band of iron covered with leather and supporting the seat ILs feet are braced against the fore part of the sulky, where a railing runs for their support, and the only thing which apparently keeps him from turning over backward is the bit in the horse's mouth and tho reins in his hands. The sensation to the driver is almost that of a rider in a saddle, and the man who owns one of these new inventions can enjoy at one and the same time the pleasure of .a rider, driver and bicycler. Cause of Rheumatism. The supreme importance of purify ing the blood and restoring the liver and kidneys to healthy action, lias been a subject of great study, the results of which have enabled us to present to the afflicted, llibbard's Rheumatic Syrup. By cures unprecedented, it has proven its right to the titlo of "The Greatest Rheumatic remedy ever discovered." For sale by J. W. Conn.
