The name of the dead man is John McBride. Patrick Arthur is in a dan gerous condition but the others will recover. McBride's body was not re covered for some hours after the accident. A stir was created at Batavia by the intelligence that Mrs. Andrews, who is in jail for illegally retaining from the lawful owner, the will of the late Mrs. Eliza beth Ensign, had not been, and could not be, awakened. After quite a lengthy examination ihe doctors said that it was evident that she was not feigning. Not the faintest sign of life could be seen and they were of the opinion that it was a case of extreme nervous prostration, brought on by excitement and her surroundings.
