All persons having bills against the Fourth of July committee, are re quested to present them this evening at the office of the secretary, C. J. An elegant gold headed ebony cane was yesterday presented to Dr. Alfred Kinney, on his fortieth birthday, by his wife, and to say that the doctor is justly proud or his handsome present is stating it very mildly. All the members of the general committee of arrangements, and all the sub-committees for the Fourth of July exercises, are requested to meet at 7:30 this evening, at the office of C. J. An unusually high tide on Tuesday overflowed the new baseball grounds at Smith's point, at the terminus of the Bay railway, so that the grounds cannot be used ou Friday, and tho match game must be played elsewhere. . i? nir'O' c,iiwuiiiii o.ujj er.Theo tUtaO U"?
