Some Remarks From Patti. Special to The astoiii vn.i New Yoi:k, April 12. Patti com plains of the treatment received in certain papers in San Francisco, bo cause she subscribed only S20 for the Karl Formes benefit. She says of her theater at her Welsh castle: "It is a private affair, and generally only ten ants and friends will bo admitted. I shall get it licensed and give public performances iu aid of charities. That part of Wale3 is delightfully ro mantic, but it would be voted decidedly slow if it were not for the distractions that we get up ourselves. The ex citement incidental to rehearsals breaks the monotony of country life. I expect to make it profitable, too, to various charitable institutions in which 1 am interested."
