And Ehall to all eternity endure.
Sophocles.
The laws of nature liavo ever been
the particular study of astrologers,
and no ordinance ot man (observes
ZadkielV4 Voice of the Stars") has ever
deterred them from pursuing their re
searches. The recent total eclipse of
the sun taking place in the first degree
of Capricornus, and attended by Mer
cury and Jupiter, will prove a subject
for profound study, for it is certain to
be quickly followed by earthquakes in
South America and the Grecian Archi
pelago. The public health will be far
from good; epidemic sickness among
children will be very prevalent in
many of our large towns; those per
sons whose birthday anniversary falls
on or near the 16th inst. aro warned to
safe guard their health. The 10th
inst, is a fortunato birthday anniver
sary for thoto uho weto born in either
183L 1854, 1861 or 1863, and for those
at whose birth the Mecon was in the
second decanatc of the sign Capri
cornus. The 20th and 29th are alo
fortunate.
