Misfit Photographs.
"Misfit photographs for sale" is the
sign on a Michigan avenue photo
graph gallery. The man who owns
the place says he hit on that plan to
get rid o pictures that people order
and never pay for. "But who buys
the pictures?" "asked the sketch artist.
"Oh, many folks. You see, a young
man comes in here and re-6s a nice
picture of a girl and he buy- no and
sends it home to his frierids. Then
he takes ono few himself perhaps
two and in that way t net my monr-y
back. I know oue young fellow vho
took some of my best work and sent
it to Germany to represent his wife.
The picture could easily have paHsed
for hers, as far ag the features wept,
but she was never dressed out like it.
Mothers who have little children
often buy pictures of children with
long hair when theirs hasn't grown
out and send around to friends at a
distance. I can sell brides' pictures
without any trouble. I sometimes
think pictures that ain't taken for
people look just as much like them.
Besides, it saves you all the trouble
of a sitting." Detroit Free Press.

Distress After Eating.
This result of indigestion will no long
er be experienced if Simmons Liver Rec
ulator is taken after each meal. It is
such a good digester, and so mild and
pleasant in its effect that it is used by
many, after a hearty meal, to insure
good digestion. The Regulator does
not nauseate or irritate the stomach, but
corrects acidity, dispels foul gases, al
lays irritation, and assists the stomach
in its digestion.
