Two Children In Six Months-
A dispatch from Onancock, Va.,
July 29, reports that a remarkable
case of parturition has just come to
light there. Ellon Hall, a young
colored woman residing in that town,
gave birth several days ago to a male
child, making the second child she
has borne in the last sis months. On
the 16th of last January she gave
birth to a male child in Baltimore,
where she was then living with her
husband, William Hall, a colored
drayman. Finding that her condi
tion did not change after she had
given birth to her child, she was in
duced to consult a physic
ian, who, after an examina
tion, informed her that they
would have another child iu the
course of four or five months In the
meantime she left Baltimore and
went to Onancock to reside tempor J
arily with her parents, who are among
the moat respected colored people in
that community. Five months Hud
four days from the birth of her first
child she gave birth to another finely
developed boj. Both the children
are alive and doing well, and the
doctors say that the woman carried
both nine months before delivery. All
the physicians there havo investi
gated the case, and unite iu pro
nouncing it the most remarkable one
that has ever come within their ob
servation. FIMKI.IX OX Til. IV.OK
