A gentleman who arrived from eastern Oregon says the Albany Her ald, coming by the Lebanon route, states that there are now over ono million head of sheep being pastured between Fish lake and the Deschutes river. This latter movement is not very acceptable to tho hunters who rusticate every fall up the Santlam, as the sheep frighten the deer back into the mountains beyond their reach.
